Scaffolding collapses at South Bend's Kroc Center

Some workers building the Kroc Community Center in South Bend are lucky they were not hurt on Thursday when a stretch of scaffolding fell down.

The approximately 20-foot tall stretch of scaffolding along a 30-foot tall wall was covered with several cinder blocks when it fell in the afternoon.

If anyone had been working on the way, they could have been badly hurt.

Luckily, all the workers were elsewhere on the job site.

The multi-million dollar Kroc Community Center should be complete late next year.
